What is a PEO?
“PEO” stands for Professional Employer Organization. PEOs work with small- to medium-sized companies and provide comprehensive outsourcing to help manage the day-to-day tasks of running a business. The PEO and the employer enter into a Client Service Agreement or “CSA” which outlines the relationship between the business, the employees, and the PEO. The PEO then provides access to benefits, administers payroll and HR, and assists with compliance but leaves the direction and control of the company in the employer client’s hands.
How long is the contract?
It is just like any benefit plan you have—it is a 12-month policy. But you are not tied to anything and can leave at any time as long as you give us 60-day advance notice.
Do you offer mobile timekeeping?
Yes, we offer state of the art mobile timekeeping with biometric or GPS location tracking for validation and it integrates seamlessly with HR, Benefits and Payroll. It’s compatible with Android, Blackberry, iPhone, and Windows7 Mobile.
How do the time clocks work?
We can customize the time clocks as the employer wishes and according to their needs. They can be accessible from the employee’s phone per a mobile app or only accessible for employees from a computer located at the job site. They can also be customized per employee depending on their role within the company.
What are your customer service hours?
The ScalePEO Client Care Team is available Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm PST. Clients also have 24/7/365 access to the online ScalePEO HR Support Center.
Will our data be secure in your system?
At ScalePEO we are committed to keeping your personal and confidential information safe. Our HR Cloud is actively monitored 24/7/365 and all data is encrypted before being sent to or stored in the cloud. Other features include role-based security, strict password rules, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Do you have a service commitment guarantee?
At the end of 90 days of service, if you are not completely satisfied then we will refund to you 100% of our HR Management fee. This assumes our timely receipt of all data requested from you, as well as your payment of initial benefit premiums and PEO implementation fees.
Can we just get the benefits and skip the HR and payroll?
